A leak in January revealed the title, but I didn’t feel it was right to post about it then. And then there was an early test screening of the movie in June. But again, the people who saw that screening were meant to have signed an NDA, so we didn’t want to post about it then.
We did, however, quietly change the title of our section for The Matrix Resurrections that we’ll be putting together as we learn more about the movie.
Now a trailer for the movie was shown at CinemaCon, and it officially confirmed the title of The Matrix 4 is The Matrix Resurrections.
The Matrix Resurrections will be in theaters and on HBO Max this December 22.
