My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is a show that has, against the odds, become a cultural phenomenon. It’s become such a big part of culture that people are now making parodies with it. Very good parodies. It’s also a very funny show because the creators of the show subscribe to the same idea that Walt Disney had about children’s entertainment: if you make it just for kids, it might last for a little while, but if you make it accessible to adults as well, it will be far more successful. The new My Little Pony cartoon fits that perfectly.
