Youtube user CineFix has a long running series called 8-Bit Cinema where they take movies and make them look like old video games. Considering how much The Matrix was originally influenced by the medium it is a natural fit, and today the two have finally come together. In the video above you can see their creation, which runs through most of the major scenes from the first movie. You’ll see Neo choose the red pill, learn Kung Fu, fight off Agents, and eventually use his extra life, all in glorious 8-Bits.
