I hate reporting stories like this, and it’s yet another death in the Matrix production. First it was Keanu’s girlfriend, then it was Aaliyah, and now it is Gloria Foster, who played the Oracle in the original film. Our prayers are with her family and friends and with her as she moves on from this world into the world to come. Here is the report from Corona:
A representative for Village Roadshow confirmed our source’s story today: actress Gloria Foster indeed passed away last weekend. How this will affect her role in The Matrix Reloaded and Matrix 3 remains unclear. The person that first broke the news to us informed CA that at the time of her death, Foster had completed most of her work for Reloaded but none for Matrix 3. She was 64 years old.
